Developed by the founders of Pile Dynamics, Inc., this wave equation analysis program includes new innovations with its latest release, GRLWEAP14, ver. 14.2.2.0, and is now Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) compliant.
GRLWEAP14 simulates motions and forces in a foundation pile when driven by either an impact or a vibratory hammer. Its features help improve the accuracy of predicted driving stresses, bearing capacities, blow counts and installation time when matched with field observation and measurement results defined by the Pile Driving Analyzer® system (PDA).
In addition, it estimates the total driving time. This pile simulation and analysis allows the user to investigate which hammer is likely to be sufficient and economic for a certain pile and soil condition prior to mobilizing the hammer to the job.
When Wave Equation Analysis is used instead of Dynamic Formulae, several codes and standards of practice allow a leaner foundation design translating to lower factor of safety or higher resistance factor.
GRLWEAP14 includes drivability analysis, various stroke options for diesel hammers, soil sensitivity analysis, models for parallel or composite piles and seven static analysis options. The analysis of battered (driven at an angle) piles has been enhanced in GRLWEAP14. When the angle is horizontal, GRLWEAP may be used to simulate the installation of culverts.
GRLWEAP 14 is available in Professional and Offshore Wave Versions. Find out which version of GRLWEAP is right for you. GRLWEAP Offshore Wave Version includes exclusive features designed for challenging situations (free riding hammers, nonuniform and battered piles) and special analysis options such as fatigue output tables.
GRLWEAP14’s user-friendly interface includes more than 1000 preprogrammed hammers, extensive help, and numerous automatic features.
Electronic
Works with Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11.
Purchase of GRLWEAP includes technical support.
for desktop or laptop only
When you purchase a GRLWEAP14 license, you will receive an email with a download link that will include the installation file, hammer data files, example data input files, and on-line manual.
To activate the program uses a License ID and Password along with activation instructions. In addition, a Background Manual is also available through the “Help” menu within the GRLWEAP 14 program. The license is a permanent and perpetual license with no maintenance or annual fees to the program and provide free minor updates to the program when available.
Single user software lock license: The program can be installed onto as many computers you like, however ONLY ONE USER can use the program at a time on ONE COMPUTER as the single user license is not a shared license. With the purchase of a single user software lock license, you will receive 2 deactivations. The deactivation represents how many times you can transfer/move the program to another computer. Additional deactivations can be purchased for $25 which includes 2 more deactivations.
Network license software lock license: The benefits of the Network license are its flexible between users and starts at 3 Seats which allows for 3 or more users to use the program at the same time. The program can be installed onto as many computers you like, and the users can run GRLWEAP until the number of concurrent users exceed the number of licenses that you have purchased. You can release a seat to have another user access the license. Can use the program from any office location around the globe.
We offer free license transfers for all single‑user software locks, as long as the original installation is properly deactivated. A valid deactivation code must be provided when moving the license to a new computer.
If a deactivation code cannot be generated due to computer failure, reformatting, or system malfunction, a reactivation fee will be required to issue a new activation.
This policy ensures the protection and proper management of all licensed software.
