CAPWAP® (Case Pile Wave Analysis Program) is a software program that estimates total bearing capacity of a pile or shaft, as well as resistance distribution along the shaft and at the toe. The program inputs the force and velocity data obtained with a Pile Driving Analyzer^® (PDA) system to perform a soil resistance test. It is essential to post-process PDA data with CAPWAP® for at least one foundation element per job. CAPWAP® completes the Dynamic Load Testing procedure and simulates a Static Load Test to determine the deep foundation capacity.

CAPWAP® 2014 has improved features for the analysis of drilled shafts and other concrete piles, such as variable time increment/wave speed, an automatic routine to calculate variable impedance, and area calculations based on field measurements. The program includes a completely automated mode as well as adjustable parameters with which the user systematically improves the calculated results of the pile capacity test. CAPWAP® works in English, Metric or SI units, and features numerous help features that have been expanded for the 2014 version. A comprehensive report is a new output option.

The CAPWAP® manual introduces the user to the wave equation theory and signal matching procedure on which the program is based.

When you purchase a CAPWAP 2014/PDA-S license, it also includes PDA-W, PDIPLOT2, PDI-CURVES, and ICAP. You will receive an email containing the download link and instructions on how to register your license.

To transfer license from the licensed computer open the software from the Help Menu and follow the screen message to deactivate license and send us the Deactivation Code to confirm. Then from the new computer you wish to have the license activated on, send us a new Site Code and we will reply with a new Site Key for the new computer
The Software Suite package software lock license is not a shared license and only good for one user to use on one computer at a time. How you activate the license is by emailing in your site code and we will reply with a site key

License Transfer & Reactivation Policy

We offer free license transfers for all single‑user software locks, as long as the original installation is properly deactivated. A valid deactivation code must be provided when moving the license to a new computer.

If a deactivation code cannot be generated due to computer failure, reformatting, or system malfunction, a reactivation fee will be required to issue a new activation.

This policy ensures the protection and proper management of all licensed software.

My laptop was recently reformatted and I re-installed the PDA® and CAPWAP® software but the open PDA® file for the CAPWAP® was not able to run.
