What is the SHAPE’s recommended deployment speed?

Generally, PDI recommends 1 ft/s (300 mm/s) for deployment speed. When users commit to slower speeds, the sensor unit collects additional depth data points. Users can change the speed for the sensor unit’s descent and/or ascent. Note: The SHAPE does not gain information from longer pauses at the excavation’s bottom.
