Has the SAX-Q accuracy been verified?

A study was conducted for the Florida Department of Transportation, which compared the calculated stroke of the SAX-Q and the PDA. Consistently, the SAX-Q matched the PDA’s calculated stroke within .375 inches (9.525 mm).  The comparison also consistently showed that the SAX-Q had a correlation coefficient that was very near or, in several data sets, at unity.
