Can I use iCAP® as a starting point for a traditional CAPWAP® analysis?

iCAP® can be used as a starting point for traditional CAPWAP®  analysis to an extent. Currently, the iCAP® soil model is saved with averaged force and velocity in a .cww file format. The results of the iCAP® analysis can be sent to an output screen for printing and saving in the CAPWAP® 2006 format (file with extension cww). The .cww file can then be read by CAPWAP® (versions 2006 or 2014) for further analysis, albeit with some limitations. For example, the displacement versus time cannot be adjusted. Engineers should take heed to properly adjust the data prior to iCAP®. Of course, it is better to use the normal CAPWAP® procedure, by inputting the real PDA-W or PDA-S file. It might be beneficial to use the information from iCAP®(manually inputted) as a starting solution.
