What if the jobsite does not have cell service? Can the data still be collected and uploaded to the cloud if the jobsite does not have cell service?

If the jobsite does not have cellular service, the data will not be pushed into the cloud. The TAG and TAP-EDGE data loggers store the data locally. The user has three options to push data to the cloud after the pile’s peak temperature is reached.

Their first option is to transport the TAG and TAP-EDGE data loggers to a location with cell service. Once at a suitable location, the user can power the devices on with turn on plugs. Then, the TAG data logger will push its data, followed by the data on the TAP-EDGE data logger(s), to the cloud. Alternatively, the user can download the data to the TIP-Q Main Unit using the EDGE-LINK cable. The third option is to download the data from the data loggers using WiFi. Once downloaded the user can use WiFi to push the data to the cloud. The TIP-Q Main Unit’s Edge-TWC software is used to send project files to the cloud via WiFi.
