Are TIP™ results easy to interpret?

TIP™ results measure local temperatures as a function of depth. The element is uniform, if there are no significant or abrupt changes in the temperature measurements, as compared to the average temperature. Engineers can determine the shaft shape and radius, at any location, by inputting the shaft’s volume. As with any NDT testing method, engineers should consult all available data when analyzing a shaft. This includes field installation records and soil borings.
