What qualifies as “Good PDA Data” when performing a High Strain Dynamic Load Test?

Similar velocity records indicate “Good PDA Data.” In addition, strain (force) and velocity records should have similar frequency content. After impact, as indicated by a flat line on the velocity record, the frequency should return to near 0 or reach a slightly negative value. If one strain record presents “high frequency content,” something may be wrong with the record’s corresponding strain transducer. For example, a loose bolt on the strain transducer may cause the transducer to behave as an accelerometer.
