Can Thermal Integrity Profiling (TIP™) be performed on a shaft without a full length reinforcing cage (or center rebar for augercast pile)?

Thermal Wire^® cables and access tubes require a reinforcing element for attachment and alignment purposes. Commonly, engineers will use a cage or center bar. Thermal Integrity Profiling results, however, are limited to the portion of shaft that contains the reinforcing element.
