The performance of a pile driving system (hammer performance) is crucial to foundation quality. Excessively low hammer performance can result in low bearing capacity, insufficient pile penetration, and reduced pile driving production. Higher than expected hammer performance can cause high pile stresses and eventually pile damage. Hammer Performance Analysis is particularly critical in offshore oil platform projects.
